You will be transferred by our driver-guide to The Aberdare Country Club, which is nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands, part of the Great Rift Valley. This captivating site was the homestead of an English couple that decided to settle in Kenya. Almost half a Century later, their home, known as “The Steep", was renamed “The Aberdare Country Club” and opened for guests. Considered as a heritage property in Kenya, The Aberdare Country Club has retained the charm of a private home, with the simple comforts of a country inn.
Arrive for lunch at The Aberdare Country Club, where you will be assisted with the check-in formalities.
The Club’s 1,300 acre wildlife sanctuary is teeming with impalas, zebras, giraffes, and the more reclusive leopards. It is a haven of unhurried charm, set in a garden bursting with a profusion of colour; peacocks live within the lush green lawns. Walking through this unspoiled terrain is paradisiacal. Play a round of golf while being watched by a family of warthogs, take a mountain bike and ride up to Kamatongu Hill, play tennis, or just relax by the heated pool within the beautiful gardens. From there you can see the sunset, with the stunning Aberdare Mountains as a backdrop.

Breakfast at the club, followed by optional activity of a morning wildlife drive in Aberdare National Park. Later return to the club for lunch and leisure.
Post-lunch, depart to The Ark in lodge vehicle.
The Ark is located at 1800 metres above sea level on the Aberdare Range, situated in the heart of Aberdare National Park. It overlooks a waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of wildlife. The Ark is composed of four decks, where numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location to view wildlife.

A day's drive will take you to the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park at the base of Great Rift Valley, which is surrounded by lovely grassland. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats around Lake Nakuru itssurrounding areas. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching and safaris to view animals.

Check-out after an early breakfast and depart to the Masai Mara National Reserve, which offers wonderful scenery and plenty of wildlife.

Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is situated in Southwest Kenya, and is one of Africa's greatest wildlife reserves. Together with the Serengeti National park in Tanzania, it encompasses Africa’s most diverse and spectacular ecosystems, and may be the world’s top safari big game viewing ecosystem. Maasai Mara National Reserve covers 1,510 sq. km (580 sq. miles) and rises 1,500-2,170 metres above sea level. It hosts over 95 species of mammals and over 570 recorded species of birds. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as they existed a Century ago.
