Istanbul, with its historic peninsula, and numerous scenic and historical beauties, is a magnificently unique city that has been the capital of many civilizations. Its history dates back 300 thousand years, and it constitutes a mosaic of many civilizations and cultures. With the Black Sea in the North, the Marmara Sea in the South, and the Istanbul Strait running in all its glory through the city’s centre, Istanbul separates the continents of Europe and Asia. Its strategic position on the historic Silk Road, its rail networks to Europe and the Middle East, and its position on the only sea route between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean, have all produced a cosmopolitan populace where one can encounter people from different countries, and witness diverse cultures blending.

Pick up at 13:00 hrs for the Bosphorus Cruise and shopping tour.

The Bosphorus Cruise, along the strait between the Black Sea and Marmara Sea which separates Istanbul into two continents, is a great chance to see different aspects of Istanbul.

Visit the Egyptian Spice Market to witness the atmosphere of an Ottoman shopping centre, with several spice shops.

Afterwards, return to your hotel at 17:30 hrs.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 In Istanbul

Post an early breakfast, depart for a guided half-day sightseeing tour of Old Istanbul City at 8:30 hrs.

Proceed to the Blue Mosque, the only Imperial mosque of the Ottomans with six minarets. The mosque takes its name from its 21043 striking, blue-coloured, handmade tiles. It's built on the site of the Great Palace of Byzantium, on the Southeastern side of the Hippodrome of Constantinople: a chariot-racing track and the sporting and social centre of Constantinople.

Continue to the Grand Bazaar and enjoy free time for shopping.
